Do I need my Air Conditioning unit servicing?

Yes. Over time fine particles of debris build up on the filter and pass through onto the internal coil. Once the filter has become blocked and the internal coil is no longer clear, air flow becomes affected. You will start to notice that the room no longer reaches the temperature set point and the outdoor condenser just continuously runs, costing you more as it can never reach the set point. Bacteria breeds, causing a build up in the internal drip tray and the system starts to smell foul. Wall mounted units can then end up with debris on the barrel which can’t be removed unless a full strip down is carried out, costing you more than it would have done just by having a service. Maintaining your system is very important and having a maintenance schedule setup with ourselves can help keep on top of hygiene and reliability of your system. Once a year a leak test will be carried out on your system and a certificate will be supplied for your records.

How Often Should I Service My Air Conditioning?

You should service your Air Conditioning at minimum, once a year. If the Air Conditioning unit is located in an area with frequent debris in the air or is in a clean room, then you may need it servicing two or more times a year. Once your first service has been carried out we can advise you what the correct amount is to keep it running like new. 

Fault Finding & Repairing

We keep an engineer on stand by, day and night 365 days a year, for potential breakdowns.  Having an engineer on call allows us to attend site usually within 2 hours depending on the customers location to the Midlands. Equipped with the latest Air Conditioning service software, we can diagnose faults accurately and with ease just like a car diagnostic tool can. Once the fault has been identified, our engineers will explain the cause of the problem and advise the customer on what to do next. Depending on the fault and the repair needed, faults can sometimes be rectified or repaired whilst the engineer is still on site.
